CUSTOM CP700
Automation package for new water filtration system
Chico was faced with putting in a water filtration system. Mark Cunnane P.E. with Western Groundwater Services was engaged to design the system. Mark’s design consisted of two parallel treatment trains each consisting of a VFD, filter set, UV, automatic shut-off valve and pressure transmitters.
In the fall of 2014 Affordable SCADA was engaged by Mark to provide the control package. After review of the process it was determined that this project would require a custom CP700 solution. Affordable SCADA provided the complete automation package including the M2M network and hosted HMI.
Products Used – CP700
Operator Interface – WiFi tablet at the treatment plant and a desktop computer at the engineer’s office.
